100 night ‘rest easy’ trial returns and refund (applicable to mattresses only)

We want everyone to get the best sleep possible, and know it takes a few nights, and naps to get a feel for the difference a Comfi bed can make. With our risk-free trial and return policy, you can try our Comfi beds in the comfort of your own home-pressure free.

If you’ve been sleeping on another bed every night for the past few years, your body will need approximately 2-4 weeks to adjust to your new Comfi mattress. We offer a 30 night minimum, 100 night maximum trial on mattresses so you can take note of how your sleep improves along the way.

If for any reason you are not 100% happy and want to return a Comfi bed, we will happily provide an exchange or refund for purchases within 100 days. To begin the returns and refund process, please contact us at hello@comfi.co.nz or 0508 GET COMFI (438 26634). 

NOTE: Bed bases, pillows and any custom made mattress orders are excluded from the 100 day trial.

 

Returns and refund within the 100 night ‘rest easy” trial

Once you lodge a return request, we will organise a pick-up of your mattress. The cost of shipping will be deducted from the full refund amount. Collections can take up to 10 business days, and can only occur during business hours.

Our return policy is limited to one (1) mattress only per shipping address. All returns are only applicable to a customer’s first order. The return must be exercised no earlier than 30 nights and no later than the 100th night following delivery of your purchase. No exceptions will be made. 

Refunds are approved as soon as the returns process has been successfully completed. This includes an assessment of the condition of the returned mattress. No refund will be issued if the mattress is in poor condition (dirty, stained, ripped and so on). Please note it can take 12-14 business days for the bank to process your refund.

 

Exchanges within the 100 night rest easy trial

In the case of an exchange, an adjustment will be made for the difference in price for the mattress and/or base. We will cover the cost of the return of the original bed back to Comfi. You will cover the cost of the delivery of the exchanged mattress and/or base. The original mattress must be returned to us in excellent condition as we then donate these on to a well-deserving family. If the mattress is returned in an unacceptable state, we will pass on any costs associated with the cleaning or refurbishing of the original mattress.


Cancellation of Orders 


For all standard Comfi mattress and base orders, should you wish to cancel the order, this request must be made within 24-48 hours of placement of this order by emailing hello@comfi.co.nz. No refunds will apply if after this timeframe.

For any customised Comfi mattress and base orders, once the order has been confirmed, no changes will be accepted. 

 

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

Comfi will meet all obligations required under the Consumer Guarantees Act to remedy any situation involving faulty or damaged items.

That’s why we ask for you to sleep on the mattress for a minimum of 30 nights up to 100 nights so you can take note of how your sleep improves along the way.

How do I return a COMFI bed within the 100 night trial period?+

Easy. Once you lodge a return request, we will organise a free pick-up and/or replacement of your mattress.  Collections can take up to 10 business days, and can only occur during business hours.

Do I get a trial if I exchange a product?+

Each customer is entitled to one trial period per product. If at least one of a particular product type is returned or exchanged from an initial order, that customer or shipping address will not be eligible for additional trials on subsequent orders of that particular product. If your product is returned completely unopened, however, a trial will still be available on your next purchase of that same product. The return must be initiated no later than the 100th night following the delivery of your Comfi purchase. No exceptions will be made.

How long will it take to receive a refund?+

Once the mattress has been collected, we will refund you in the original payment form. Refunds typically process within 2-14 business days depending on your financial institution. 

What happens to my returned mattress?+

To remain true to our commitment of “you buy, we give”, a returned trial Comfi mattress will be donated to a local charity.
