At Comfi, we take great responsibility for the environmental effects of our products throughout the product life cycle and stewardship of our Comfi mattresses. To show our commitment to this, we have partnered with All Heart NZ whose expertise will help facilitate our Mattress Recycling Stewardship Scheme.
Responsible Recyling
Research shows that approximately 300,000 mattresses are dumped in New Zealand landfills every year. At Comfi, our aim is to ensure the exact opposite. Trust us not to follow the herd.
Through the Mattress Recycling Stewardship Scheme facilitated by All Heart NZ, our partnership with them aims to divert as much waste as possible from landfills.
Initial trials carried out by All Heart NZ have shown promising results, with 77% of mattress components being successfully recycled. How awesome is that!
