FAQ's

Does the bed base come with its own warranty?
Yes, a 10-year warranty, the same as our mattresses. All Comfi products are made here in New Zealand.

Do your Bed Bases fit standard NZ sized mattresses?
Yes, our bed bases and draw bases are a perfect fit for all standard Single, King single, Doubles, Queens, Kings and Super King sized mattresses.

What is the Bed Base made from?
New Zealand pine that is slatted and covered in upholstered fabric.

Can I buy just a bed base only without the mattress?
Yes of course! Simply choose your size and colour options and add to cart!

What bed leg heights do you have available for Standard bed bases?
We recommend the standard legs 100mm.  We also have available short legs 50mm and long legs 150mm.

Is the bed base part of the 100-night trial?
No. We allow trials for mattresses where the feel of the mattress might not be up to your liking, but you don’t buy a base because of its feel

Why do I need a bed base?
Placing your mattress on top of a supportive bed base raises your sleep surface to an adequate height, making it easier to get in and out of bed and reducing contact with allergens from the floor like dust and mould. Perhaps more importantly, having a good bed base ensures that your mattress provides you with its most optimal support.

Comfi Base and mattress

Both together give me the best sleep ever. My mattress

is a soft one, as I'm older, and it is so supportive and comfortable! Love it.
