Buying a new mattress is the exciting bit. Getting rid of the old one? That is where the wheels usually fall off.
Most people fully intend to do the right thing. They tell themselves they’ll borrow a trailer, load it up, take it to the dump, and tick it off next weekend.

Our mattress recycling partnership with All Heart NZ
We first announced our partnership with All Heart NZ back in July 2024 as part of our commitment to mattress recycling stewardship. Under that scheme, over 100 mattresses have been collected, dismantled and recycled at All Heart’s New Zealand distribution centre in Auckland in the last year. This has diverted over 4000 kg’s of waste from landfill.
